The citizen, who attempted to enter the National Assembly building earlier today, has been identified as Vrej Galstyan, a 25-year-old citizen of Masis city.
A1+'s correspondent eports from the ground the man entered the NA reception room and passed at such a terrific speed that the security guards could not stop him. They had to shoot him in the leg to prevent his further intrusion into the parliament premises.
Armen Nadiryan, Deputy Head of the Special Investigation Service, refused to reveal more details on the incident in his conversation with the journalists grouped outside the building. NA MP Mher Shahgeldyan also refused to comment on the occurred saying he was unaware of it.
As reported earlier, an unknown citizen armed with a knife tried to enter the NA building earlier on Friday. The policemen guarding the area opened fire to stop him after the man disobeyed their instructions.
