Eleventh baby born into Armenian family

The eleventh baby was born into an Armenian family living in the country's second-largest Gyumri city. The 38 year-old mother, Arevhat Alexanyan, gave birth to a baby boy whose appearance was the first surprise of 2013 for the employees of the maternity hospital. In 2012 they assisted a Yezidi woman to deliver her 12th child.

While multi-children families are wide-spread among Yezidis, this is a bit unusual in Armenia.

Arevhat Alexanyan says she loves children very much and will have as many of them as God wants, Gyumri-based Tsayg TV reports.
