Several dozen students have gathered outside Yerevan State University, announcing their intention to boycott classes and join the national protest campaign, called alternatively as BAREVolution - the revolution of greetings. The group is determined to continue the boycott until the final victory of the national movement.
The action started at 11.30 a.m., February 25.
The organizers earlier released a statement urging students to join the move and not become enslaved by the criminal regime.
"You should not be afraid of the consequences. Deans, lecturers and officials cannot stand in our way as they see the sorrowful state of our country. They cannot hinder our protest. We are the future of Armenia and we are building our future country together," they said in the statement.
