On February 13, fourteen students from India studying at Yerevan's Medical College told police in Yerevan that they had each been swindled out of $700 by Indian citizen Mhesh K. who promised to help them buy an airplane ticket India at a cheaper price.
Another nine students from India reported the police on Feb. 14 that Mhesh K. had cheated them in the same way, taking $700 from each.
Police are taking measures to determine the whereabouts of the man.
Investigation is in progress.
