Yerevan Zoo Director receives severe reprimand

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan today severely reprimanded the director of the Yerevan Zoo for the noticeable decline in the number of animals.

The mayor instructed the municipality's supervisory department to look into the conditions in which the animals are kept as well as the operations of the zoo.

Should the department reveal any violations, the municipality will take disciplinary measures.
