A magnitude 4.3 earthquake hit 13 km south-west from Iran's Ahar city at around 11.38 pm. January 28. The quake strength was 5-6 points in the epicenter. The hypocenter was at the depth of 10 km.
Tremors measuring 2-3 on the Richter scale were also felt in Armenia's southern city of Meghri.
