As of January 16 all inter-state and inter-community roads in Armenia are mainly passable according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Some sectors of roads are icy.
The roads to the villages of Hovtun, Darik, Zarishat, Paghakn, Berdashen and Shaghik are closed and the roads to Haykasar, Tufashen, Hayrenyats are difficult to pass.
Georgian Interior Ministry's Emergencies Department reports that the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open only for vehicles with more than 30 seats.
Snow clearing activities are under way.
