Hayastan All-Armenian Fund has completed the reconstruction of the Ukhtadzor water supply system in Nagorno-Karabakh's Hadrout region with the financing of Hayastan Fund French affiliate and Nagorno-Karabakh government.

The round-the-clock water supply was a key problem for some 345 inhabitants of the 500-year-old frontier village.Built in the 50s the system was already in a deplorable condition with a great loss of water. The locals got water two hours per day at best.
Under the project, one of the two reservoirs has been reconstructed, the other - refurbished.

The water source located 4km away from the village has also been renovated, significantly reducing water loss and increasing the quantity of water.

A water pipeline has been laid in the main district of the community which already provides regular water supply, Hayastan All-Armenian Fund reports.
