This year grape harvest is not only scare, but also badly damaged.
"Whether it is contagion through air or medicine, we do not understand the reason. Even expensive chemicals do not help," says Vasil Baghdasaryan, a resident of Armenia's Etchmiadzin city.
The 77-year-old man has been growing grapes for 20 years but has never had such a poor harvest. He cannot even recover the costs.
"We had better grow radish instead of grape," said the elderly man.
Farmers are convinced that even by selling grape at AMD 200 per kilo, they will not have profit.
Besides, they also have a problem with irrigation.
