A protest was staged outside the Hungarian consulate in New York last night. Among the participants were representatives of the Armenian-American Political Coalition, various religious, student and youth organizations.
The protesters carried placards and chanted slogans condemning Hungary's decision. The participants, many of them American citizens of Armenian descent, issued a statement expressing their condemnation, the Department of Armenian Communities of America of the RA Ministry of Diaspora reports.
