The Crisis Management Center of Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations on September 7 received phone calls about fires in various grassy areas of the republic.
In particular, fires destroyed 1.5 ha in the village of Geghadzor in Aragatsotn marz, 3 ha near the village of Sotk in Gegharkunik marz, 2 ha at Ashtarak-Gyumri motorway and 1 ha near the city of Charentsavan.
All the fires were localized and extinguished.
