The statement of Journalists' Club "Asparez":
"During President Serzh Sargsyan's visit to the city of Gyumri today, the presidential administration forbad the representatives of a number of local mass media outlets to participate in an interview with him. Among them were reporters of Gyumri-Asparez daily, www.asparez.am, Hingshabti (Thursday) weekly, Tsayg and GALA television companies, and local correspondents of Radio Liberty and Aravot daily.
Journalists' Club "Asparez: condemns this attitude towards local reporters and considers it a shameful case of a restriction on the freedom of speech as well as discrimination against some groups of representatives of the same profession".
