The clashes in Aleppo and the nearby areas continue. Shootings have been taking place on the streets of El-Maysar and Sheik-Najar districts, as well as the university settlement and Beb-El-Khadid Square near those districts since early this morning.
Military helicopters are overseeing the Firdous, Anjar and Mishkhed quarter-districts, but there is no news about air assaults, reports ITAR-TASS.
Yesterday, more than 123 people died in Aleppo, and 200,000 have left the city.
Representative of the "Free Army of Syria" Abu Firas has informed that the opposition members are trying to block the entrance from the south of Aleppo so that they cut the main vessel supplying the government forces. Firas has assured that they are controlling more than 60% of the city and the nearby areas.
CAHA Agency reports that "the government forces continue to pursue and eliminate the terrorists" hiding in Aleppo. According to the source, 11 terrorists have been eliminated as a result of special military operations in the Jamilia district of central Aleppo, and another 6 terrorists have been killed at Saadali al-Jabir Square.
