"Art doesn't recognize borders or nationality"-this is the slogan of the forum for joint film production of the Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine), which is being held for the sixth time on the sidelines of the Golden Apricot International Film Festival.

The program was approved by the European Union last year.

"The dissemination and patronage of culture is one of the essential loops of Europe's policy," said EU representative Jean Kristof Gaiar in his opening speech today.

As the program's manager Susanna Harutyunyan said, the idea of bringing film directors of different countries together and establishing personal and working relations was born in 2007 and has brought together more than 200 directors.

The three-day forum (10-12 July) will include master's lessons and meetings with guests experts from abroad.
