River pours over its banks in Syunik

On May 23, the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations was alarmed by a report that the feeder of the Voghji River flowing through Syunik province had burst its banks and submerged a whole district. The river uprooted two trees and drove away a pillar.

To prevent the further flooding, a rescuer squad was sent to the scene shortly afterwards. The photos were posted on A1+'s page "Through Your Eyes" by a resident of Goris.
