No point in lawsuit anymore?

During a trial at the Administrative Court today, lawyer Hayk Alumyan announced that there was already no point in the lawsuit filed by 7 deputies of Heritage Party for Mashtots Park and that he would take the lawsuit back.

Mayor Taron Margaryan demolished the stands by Serzh Sargsyan's instruction, even though environmental activists had been raising their voices against the illegal placement of those stands for the past three months.

The lawyer today mentioned that four of the seven deputies had already signed an appeal to withdraw the lawsuit and petitioned the court to postpone the trial to receive the signatures from the other three deputies.

Judge Karen Avetisyan didn't let journalists tape the trial today and scheduled the next trial for May 17.

We remind that the stands were transferred from Abovyan Street to Mashtots Park. The mayor has promised that those stands won't appear in any green area anymore.
