By the written consent of 31 of the 49 members of the Academic Council of Yerevan State Linguistic University, it was demanded to convene a special session with the plan to suspend former Rector Suren Zolyan's powers and discuss the decree on liquidating his contract and the situation that has been created.
According to Point 17 of the YSLU Academic Council's Rules and Regulations, by the consent of the Academic Council, that special session was supposed to have taken place at 10:00 today.
However, acting Rector of Yerevan State Linguistic University Gayane Gasparyan from the RA Ministry of Education and Science, surpassing her powers and avoiding discussions, instructed to postpone the session, report university students.
