Armen Dilanian passes away at 57

Armen Dilanian, a correspondent of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) Armenian service, died in Glendale on April 24 at the age of 57.

Being the co-founder of the RFE/RL Yerevan bureau, Dilanian worked at the office from 1992 to 1994. He presented the first reportages of RFE/RL's Armenian Service which covered the key events taking place in the newly-independent Armenia.
In 1994 - 1995, he worked in the Munich-based headquarters of the radio station and in 1995-2006, in the Prague headquarters.

After settling in the USA, Armen Dilanian assisted local Armenian media, contributing to their development.
