Bayandur Poghosyan, who has declared a hunger strike at Mashtots Park, is trying to set up a tent for himself.
Environmentalist Vahram Soghomonyan told "A1+" that the activists were trying to create the necessary conditions in order to not endanger Bayandur Poghosyan's health. He is currently withstanding the cold and isn't getting ready to stop his hunger strike.
We remind that the environmentalists and citizens at Mashtots Park are holding an action with the demand to stop the placement of stands in the green area.
The stands were placed by the decision of Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan and construction ended last night after the activists left. The workers are currently cleaning the garbage left after construction.
The environmentalists continue their struggle and are joined by writers Marine Petrosyan, Violet Grigoryan, singers, musicians and other famous figures.
