1,000 roses in ice heart

Today is St. Sargis the Warrior Day. The Armenian Holy Apostolic Church has declared the day of St. Sargis the Warrior (patron of youth) as Youth Blessing Day.

In light of the occasion and as a symbol of the holiday, Yerevan Municipality placed a 2 meter high ice heart with 1,000 roses in it at the Swan Lake-ice skating rink. Roses were given to all couples strolling near the ice skating rink, including foreigners visiting Yerevan.
