106 die from low-quality medicine

106 citizens have died from low-quality medicine in Lakhor, Pakistan, reports the РБК (RBK).

Citizens took local medicine for prophylactic purposes, but that medicine was for those suffering from cardio-vascular diseases.

According to the source, more than 25,000 people were given the medicine at no cost, and the death rate might grow.

The local authorities have instigated a case against the drug company.
