An Armenian citizen tried to commit suicide today near the government building.
Eyewitnesses say that the small, 60-year old man injured himself with his razor. He didn't try to explain why he did that and only demanded justice.
As one of the eyewitnesses and former political prisoner Vardges Gaspar told "A1+", the man had said that if he wasn't allowed to commit suicide, he would go and throw himself off a bridge. He also said that the policemen had taken the razor to the Kentron police headquarters to know what it was.
Vardges Gaspar doesn't know him, but some recalled that he was the same person who had expressed his protest near the Yerevan municipality by sewing his mouth. "This is just one example of our society. Perhaps there are many people who are not speaking out against the injustice," said Vardges Gaspar.
As the RA Police told "A1+", the man who tried to commit suicide was 60-year old Rudolph Minasyan. He is a one of the farmers of the Dalma fields and his land had been sold.
