Recently a pother was recorded in the village of Karashamb, Kotayk Marz.
The village was preparing for an engagement of Hayk Sargsyan, the son of Serzh Sargsyan's brother Sashik Sargsyan and Karashamb resident Sona Melkonyan. The engagement was scheduled for December 2, 2009, but the preparation works and security measures started on December 1.
According to eyewitnesses all gardens, roofs and cattle sheds, cars as well as roads leading to the village were being checked.
According to our verified sources, relatives of the son-in-law ran down a 20-year-old youth on their way to the village.
Fortunately, the boy was saved after lying unconscious in the resuscitation department for 17 days. On December 19 the system of artificial respiration was disconnected after the boy came to himself.
