At its March 20 meeting in Paris, PACE Monitoring Committee will also discuss the recent presidential election in Armenia, with PACE Co-rapporteurs on Armenia, Axel Fischer, Germany, EPP/CD, and John Prescott, United Kingdom, SOC, presenting information on the presidential election held on 18 February 2013.
PACE Monitoring Committee is also expected to adopt a draft resolution on the post-monitoring dialogue with Turkey. The committee will also discuss the recent political developments in Azerbaijan and appointment of a new co-rapporteur on Russia.
The next meeting of the Monitoring Committee is scheduled to be held in Strasbourg on April 22-26.
