On March 21, the opposition Heritage Party will submit with the Central Election Commission the list of its candidates to participate in the May elections to the Yerevan City Council, Heritage Party Spokesman Hovsep Khurshudyan said on Wednesday during his press conference in Freedom Square.
The Heritage representative says they are going continue ‘their rightful struggle' despite Serzh Sargsyan's announcements.
"We are fighting for justice and leading a constitutional coup," he said.
Speaking about the statement of Republican faction head Galust Sahakyan who said that the issue of resignation is closed for his party, the Heritage official said, "I do not think that it is closed for people, moreover, it will soon receive its solution."
Hovsep Khurshudyan stated that his party is waging a political struggle which will be crowned with victory in the near future.
"The upcoming City Council elections are part of this struggle and we will try to win the struggle," he said.
In conclusion, Mr Khurshudyan said his party is ready to cooperate with all opposition forces in order to restore justice in the country.
"... On condition that this force is really concerned about Armenia," he said.
