Head of the Democratic Homeland party, Petros Makeyan, has issued a statement saying his party will run in the upcoming municipal elections.
"Considering the post-election developments following the February 18 presidential and the current situation in the country, the Political Council of the Democratic Homeland party has decided to run in the upcoming City Council elections in Yerevan in support of the rebellious people and against the Republican Party of Armenia and its hangers-on.
Victory in these elections may help restore constitutional order in the country," reads the statement.
