Levon Igityan: Everybody wants to be boss

Member of the Yerevan City Council, architect Levon Igityan thinks that the opposition will show more interest in the upcoming City Council elections.

Mr Igityan strongly condemns the post-election turmoil in the country, specifically the nationwide protests held by Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian and his ongoing hunger strike in protest against the ‘fraudulent' presidential election.

"As an Armenian, I am offended to see that people who have centuries-old history and who have seen many calamities and hardships attend these shows," he said adding that people's destiny should not be turned into a show.

Speaking Armenia's multi-party system the architect expressed his indignation saying it is a kind of disease.
"It is ridiculous to have so many parties in a small country like Armenia. The reason is that everybody wants to be a boss," he concluded.
