The representative of the political force that aspires to take the lead in the opposition field should present more realistic programs, Republican party MP Gagik Minasyan said speaking about the continuing post-election tensions in Armenia.
Mr Minasyan believes that [Heritage party leader] Raffi Hovannisian's steps and statement are not clear even for his teammates.
"After the presidential election Raffi Hovannisian accumulated a great political capital, but he will have difficulties in maintaining that capital due to his uncertain steps," he said.
Speaking about Raffi Hovannisian's hunger strike, Mr Minasyan said, "Political processes have their logic and instruments and political forces should be guided by them. Hunger strike is not a means of political struggle."
In conclusion, the Republican MP said that the authorities are ready to continue discussions with the opposition.
