Stepan Grigoryan: Raffi acts very literally

Political scientist Stepan Grigoryan says Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian acts very literally; post-election rallies will evidently continue and the authorities will have to make concessions.

"Considering Serzh Sargsyan's activity of the last years [he has been acting very flexibly] I can say that he will make concessions," Mr Grigoryan said in a conversation with A1+.

The political scientist excluded new clashes, saying both Serzh Sargsyan and Raffi Hovannisian are inclined to negotiate which was not the case after the 2008 presidential election. At the same time Mr Grigoryan did not rule out that Serzh Sargsyan might go and see Raffi Hovannisian who is hunger striking in Freedom square demanding to annul the results of the February vote.
