After the open air press conference at Yerevan's Liberty Square Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian and his supporters headed for Myasnikyan Square commemorate the ten people killed during the violent street clashes on March 1, 2008.

Accompanied by his spouse, son, party-mates, adherents and ordinary citizens Mr Hovannisian held a silent and peaceful march towards the statue where the group bowed their heads and laid flowers at the statue in memory of the ten victims.
Earlier representatives of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutyun) had visited the statue to pay tribute to the ten people killed on March 1, 2008.

The participants of the silent procession came up to the statue in turn, laid flowers, stopped for a moment, prayed and went aside giving way to their friends.
