A group of civil activists have gathered outside the Central Election Commission, demanding the electoral authorities not to recognize the results of the February 18 presidential election. They are carrying posters which read, "CEC is Gallery," "CEC and OSCE should not recognize the rigged election and support the criminal-oligarchic regime," "Stop drawing figures!"
The CEC is holding an extraordinary meeting today to summarize the results of last week's ballot.
The 25 participants of the action say that the CEC should not take ‘the role of a puncher' and endorse the results of fake elections. All election falsifiers will be punished sooner or later, says the group.
The CEC building is blocked by iron barriers and controlled by police officers.
