Armenians are electing a president on February 18, 2013. All the polling stations across the country will be open from 8:00 am till 8:00 pm. Seven candidates are contesting the February 18 election.
Some 1 988 polling stations have already been set up in 41 electoral districts in order to hold the presidential election.
The candidates appear on the ballot paper in the following sequence.
1. Chairman of the Freedom Party Hrant Bagratian
2. Chairman of the National Self-Determination Union Paruyr Hayrikyan
3. Chairman of the Heritage Party Raffi Hovannisian
4. Political scientist Andreas Ghukasyan
5. Former Foreign Minister of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Arman Melikian
6. Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan
7. Epos expert Vardan Sedrakian
The number of eligible voters in the country totals 2.505.980
