Raffi Hovannisian, one of the seven presidential candidates in the Armenian presidential election, today visited Tavush province where he held a large campaign rally in Dilijan city.
Hovannisian presented the locals his electoral program, emphasizing the imperative to rapidly improve the social conditions in the country.
"We have repeatedly stressed that there is potentiality to return 300 billion drams to the state budget during the first year of presidency which will allow increasing pensions and funding of science and education, as well as health and defense sectors," he said.
Raffi Hovannisian also held meetings in Ijevan city, Getahovit, Vazashen and Berd villages where he urged everyone to go to the polls on February 18 to fulfill their civic duty.
"This time we shall be able to change the situation in the country, because we can no longer tolerate all this," the presidential candidate said during a meeting with Noyemberyan voters.
