Armenian presidential candidate Paruyr Hayrikyan has addressed to the Constitutional Court to withdraw his appeal submitted on Sunday, February 10, CC Spokesman Hovhannes Papikyan told A1+.
On Feb. 10, the presidential candidate applied to the CC with an appeal to postpone the February 18 presidential election for two weeks in pursuance of Article 52 of the RA Constitution which one of the presidential candidates faces insurmountable obstacles. The Constitutional Court is eligible to rule whether the obstacles are insurmountable or not.
Yesterday Serzh Sargsyan visited Paruyr Hayrikyan at Grigor Lusavorich medical centre where Hayrikyan was taken after the January 31 assassination attempt.
