Presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian does not mind if the presidential elections [slated for February 18] are postponed following the recent shooting attack against presidential candidate Paruyr Hayrikyan.
"I am ready to wait," said Mr Hovannisian
The leader of the Heritage Party again visited Hayrikyan this morning to inquire about his health condition.
"Last night I shook hands with Hayrikyan," said Hovannisian.
Head of the Republican party faction Galust Sahakyan, who yesterday expressed his support for presidential candidate Andrias Ghukasyan, who has been staging an open-ended hunger-strike in Yerevan since the official start of the presidential campaign [January 21], today was in hospital to see the wounded presidential candidate.
"All of us are the injured party," said Mr Sahakyan.
Hayrikyan underwent surgery on Friday. According to preliminary reports, the operation was successful and Hayrikya's condition is stable.
