Shant Harutyunyan preparing for revolution

Chairman of the Tseghakron party Shant Harutyunyan, who started a three-day hunger strike outside the National Academy of Sciences earlier on January 28, had brought with him a blanket and a mattress.

Andrias Ghukasyan, one of the presidential candidates running in next month's ballot, started an open-ended hunger strike in front of the NAS building on January 21.
"I do not have ideological linkage with Andrias. But I am always ready to stand beside people whose complaint is close to my conviction," said Shant Harutyunyan.

The chairman of the Tseghakron party says he supports the idea of ‘fake elections,' and suggests his method of struggling against election fraud.

"People should carry out a revolution to unseat the authorities," he said adding that he has already drafted a program of revolution which is likely to happen in November or December.

Shant Harutyunyan believes that his program will succeed.
