Presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian met on Tuesday with UK Ambassador to Armenia Katherine Leach to discuss election-related issues.
The interlocutors stressed the importance of holding and fair elections in conmpliance with international standards.
On Monday, January 21, representatives of Hovannisian's campaign headquarters, Armen Martirosyan, Gevorg Ghalenchyan, Styopa Safaryan and Hovsep Khurshudyan met with the CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly's election observation mission.
They gave the group Raffi Hovannisian's letter addressed to Serzh Sargsyan in which Hovannisian suggested taking concrete steps in order to conduct the first free and fair elections in Armenia's 20-years-old history.
