The website of Heritage Party Leader and presidential hopeful Raffi Hovannisian has been targeted by hackers three days after the official launch, the party's spokesman Hovsep Khurshudyan said on Tuesday.
In reply to A1+'s question how the party was going to fight against election fraud, Mr Khurshudyan said, "Though authorities try to assure people that they are going to hold free and fair election, we rely on the forces supporting Mr Hovannisian. Should the election be rigged, we shall take the struggle to Republic Square."
Regarding the intention of presidential candidate Arman Melikyan to step back on the presidential campaign trail due to the election legitimacy problem, the Heritage spokesman said, "Why did he (Arman Melikyan) stand for president if he really believes that the elections will be rigged? He simply unveiled his plans with the statement."
