The People's Party of Armenia (HZhK) is not going to quit the Armenian National Congress (HAK), HZhK Secretary Grigor Harutyunyan told A1+.

In the morning he talked to HZhK Leader Stepan Demirtchyan, who is in Germany to undergo surgery. During the conversation Mr Demirtchyan brushed aside the reports about his alleged withdrawal from the HAK.

Grigor Harutyunyan also dismissed the reports that the HZhK leader is already in Yerevan.

"Mr Demirtchyan will return to Armenia after January 20," said the HZhK secretary.
