The Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) has entered the new year with great expectations.
The party's vice-chairman Razmik Zohrabyan says Serzh Sargsyan's victory in the upcoming presidential election is evident; even the powerful forces understood it and decided not to field their candidates in the election.
However, Mr Zohrabyan does not hurry to underestimate the presidential candidates. "Raffi Hovannisian and Hrant Bagratyan are serious challengers. I can add a few others as well."
Though the party is confident of Serzh Sargsyan's victory, it is seriously preparing for the election."
Razmik Zohrabyan does not promise that the February 18 election will be fully free and fair but says that the election will greatly differ from the previous ones.
At the same time, he ruled out distribution of election bribes in the election.
