The 5th industrial exhibition Expo-RUSSIA-ARMENIA 2012 kicked off in the government building on October 24. More than 100 industrial products of Russian and Armenian companies were presented at the exhibition. Among those companies were Yerevan Ararat Brandy-Wine-Vodka Factory (also known as "Noy"), Kotayk, Multi Group Stone and Multi Agro.

The exhibition was opened by Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan, co-organizer of the exhibition and founder of Multi Group Concern Gagik Tsarukyan, and Russian Ambassador to Armenia Vyacheslav Kovalenko.

Abrahamyan and Tsarukyan welcomed the guests in the Russian language. In his addressing remarks, Mr Tsarukyan said ‘the exhibition has become a good tradition and it is the fifth year hospitable Armenians are hosting the products of brotherly Russia.'

For his turn, Hovik Abrahamyan said Russia has been and will remain Armenia's largest trade and economic partner. "The opportunities for cooperation are greater for strategic partners like Armenia and Russia, given the strong basis of mutual cooperation and mutual trust between the countries," he said.
