Vartan Oskanian's fate depends on the behavior of the people, political analyst Yervand Bozoyan said on Oct. 3.
"As long as the society remains passive and coward, the authorities will do whatever they want to," he said.
Mr Bozoyan is confident that if persecution against Oskanian continues, it will boost Oskanian's rating, making him a serious challenger [for Serzh Sargsyan] during the upcoming presidential elections.
He says the wave of arrests will continue in Armenia and recalls the year 1937 when people were called for conversation and arrested unexpectedly.
