Sureniants as leader of “New Rightists”

Suren Sureniants, who describes himself as a man "who was called a traitor at the time and has quit politics", is going to found a "New Rightists" party.

This political scientist is dissatisfied with the present political situation. In his words, the new party will be composed of young people aged between 35 and 45, with right-leaning views, mostly from the civil sphere. He did not mention any names, noting that the party is still at the formation stage.

Suren Sureniants did not rule out the possibility of their party's cooperation with other liberal parties. In his opinion, this will lead to the formation of a new alliance of such parties, rather than to their unification.

According to Sureniants, "New Rights" Party is unlikely to field their own candidate to run in the upcoming presidential election. It is still unclear whom they will support. It depends on the programs to be presented by candidates, but Sureniants is sure that they will not back the candidates of the ARFD and the Communist Party.
