The deadline for withdrawal of Ruben Hayrapetyan's resignation as a deputy of Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) expires tomorrow, on September 28.
Member of Heritage party Stepan Safaryan, who was Ruben Hayrapetyan's rival in electoral district # 1, believes that the HHK deputy will not withdraw his resignation, while he will announce his candidacy.
Stepan Safaryan expects the opposition field not to repeat the mistake made at the May 6 parliamentary elections and not to put up another candidate.
"They split the electorate and no one gained from it. Ruban Hayrapetyan got into the parliament, » he noted.
It needs to be reminded that the Armenian National Congress (HAK) supported candidate Gayane Arustamyan in electoral district #1.
