Armenian does not interest the world, Vahan Hovhannisyan, a lawmaker from the ARF-Dashnaktsutyun, said while explaining the silence of international organizations that have not condemned Hungary's decision to extradite Azerbaijani serviceman Ramil Safarov.
Mr. Hovhannisyan says at least Romania and Slovakia could back Armenia today as they have unsettled accounts with [Azerbaijani President] Ilham Aliyev.
"The media in Germany fully interpreted the speech of the Armenian President, making the impression that Armenia threats Azerbaijan. Where are our ambassadors in Europe? Why don't they respond to this? Can's they work with a couple of deputies? Have you read the statement of Catherine Ashton [High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy]? In his statement, the President of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz, though condemns the incident, he also urges equating the provocateur and the victim of provocation. They certainly expressed their indignation but the main idea was the following, "Armenia and Azerbaijan behave well. Everything is already in the past!" Vahan Hovhannisyan said in the National Assembly on Wednesday.
