Court dismisses Oskanian’s lawsuit

The Court of Criminal Appeals today dismissed the lawsuit filed by Tigran Atanesyan, a legal representative of [Armenia's former Foreign Minister] Vartan Oskanian, against Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan's Kentron and Nork Marash Administrative.

Judge Henrik Ter-Adamyan found the suit unfounded.
"Courts in Armenia will rather justify Talaat Pasha than make an objective and unbiased decision, especially against the National Security Service. This is the country where we live," said the lawyer.

Oskanian demands that the Court reverse the May 25 decision of the National Security Service to open a criminal case on money laundering charges against Oskanian and his Civilitas Foundation.
