Hmayak Hovhannissyan remembers Robert Kocahryan

Hmayak Hovhannissyan, Chairman of the Union of Political Scientists, is not going to run for president in 2013, Hovhannissyan told a press conference on Monday.

He states that the upcoming elections will be a choice between the present and past, rather than between the present and future.

"The greatest intrigue during the elections will be [Armenian second President] Robert Kocharyan's nomination as a candidate," he said.

At the same time, he excluded that Robert Kocharyan might become prime minister if Serzh Sargsyan was elected for the second term.

"Two heads cannot boil in one saucepan," he concluded.
