About 66.70 percent voted for Bako Sahakyan

Incumbent president of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic (NKR), Bako Sahakyan, has been re-elected, according to the preliminary results issued by the country's Central Electoral Commission.

Bako Sahakyan has polled 47085 (67.70%) of votes in Thursday's presidential race.

Sahakyan's contenders Vitaly Balasanyan and Arkadi Soghomonyan have garnered 22966 (32.50 %) and 594(0.80 %) of votes respectively.

About 72 833 (73.43 %) eligible voters participated in the vote.
