"Unlike me, Vartan Oskanian is protected by him mandate. I am in a far worse situation since I do not have deputy immunity. I wonder why you are surprised to hear that Vartan Oskanian is being chased," Hmayak Hovhannisyan, President of the Union of Political Analysts, said on Wednesday when commenting on the latest developments over Vartan Oskanian's Civilitas Foundation.
Hovhannisyan says since he is not affiliated with any party he was left out of the party list after the elections. Besides, three cases have been filed against him at a time.
"To this moment, Oskanian is involved as a witness since he is an MP. I can assure you that non-partisans are the least protected in this country," he stressed.
