STATEMENT OF VARDAN OSKANYAN

The National Security Service today issued a statement in which it made an attempt to show that the criminal case that it has instigated wasn't a political order.

"I repeat-that is definitely a political order, and I would like to say the following: Oskanyan has nothing to do with "money laundering" and Huntsman. To launder money, that money must first be "dirty". In this case, the sources and the buyer are known. The money transfer that Civilitas Foundation and I made was transparent and through a bank. Lawyers say there hasn't been any tax liability. According to the contract, "the sums to be transferred to the Beneficiary shall be viewed as a gift that the Beneficiary has the right to use at his or her discretion and for the implementation of his regulatory purposes".

Only a politically motivated person can turn a person's good deed into a political coin.
